As the pastel colors of sunrise stretched across the horizon, a group of pelicans appeared above the Pacific, flying together just beyond the breaking waves. I remember watching them and thinking, This is what collaboration looks like.
There was no struggle for position. Each bird moved freely, yet together they traveled in the same direction—as if guided by an understanding greater than themselves.
With an important meeting still ahead of me, the moment felt like confirmation of what my intuition was already telling me. True alignment doesn't require us to surrender who we are. It allows each of us to bring who we are while moving together toward a shared destination.
As One became a reminder that there is tremendous beauty in individuality—but something extraordinary happens when we choose to move through life in alignment with one another.
