"Clarity"

On the morning I captured Clarity, I stood along the shoreline of Carlsbad State Beach knowing that later that day I would be having a conversation that could change the direction of my life.

After helping start and build a company, I had come to realize that my morals, ethics and standards for how people should be treated no longer aligned with the direction around me. After many conversations with my wife, Ramona, I knew it was time to walk away—even though I had no plan for what would come next.

As the first light painted the sky in brilliant pastel hues, I slowed my shutter and watched the Pacific gently wash across the sand. Somewhere within that stillness, the answer became clear.

I didn't need to know where the next path would lead. I only needed the courage to stop walking one that no longer aligned with my purpose.

Clarity reminds me that sometimes the unknown isn't something to fear. Sometimes it's an invitation to trust—to choose alignment over certainty and allow the next chapter to reveal itself one moment at a time.

When the path becomes unclear, become still enough to hear what your soul already knows.
