Tucked along a lush embankment on the shores of West Seattle, I watched as the first colors of dusk began settling across Puget Sound.
While spectators gathered nearby at the Alki Beach Pier, I found a quieter perspective along the shoreline. In the distance, a ferry filled with passengers made its way from downtown Seattle toward one of the many island destinations beyond the horizon.
As I watched it slowly cross through the pastel glow, I found myself thinking about destinations—how often we're focused on where we're going rather than fully experiencing where we already are.
Dusk Destinations became a reminder that sometimes there is nowhere else we need to arrive. The moment we're standing in may already be the destination.
Be present for the journey. You may discover you've already arrived.
