Standing knee-deep in the warm waters of Kona as the sun settled beyond the horizon, I watched the Pacific come alive with color. Slowing the shutter transformed the restless tide into graceful ribbons of movement, while the brillant Hawaiin sunset painted the sky with a glow that seemed to reach every corner of the ocean.
As I looked toward the sailboats drifting along the horizon, I couldn’t help but wonder what the suunet looked like from their perspective. In that moment, I was reminded that no matter where we stand, the same light has a way of finding us.
